In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
IVF is a procedure in which your ovaries are stimulated with medication to produce eggs. The eggs are removed from your body and then fertilized with the man’s sperm in a laboratory. The resulting embryos are transferred into your uterus several days later.
Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
ICSI is a special fertilization technique that is sometimes used along with other Assisted Reproductive Techniques. It involves the injection of a single sperm directly into the center of an egg.
